Imaginary Landscapes

Exhibition Imaginary Landscapes in Viimsi St. Jacob`s Church presents the tapestries by Estonian textile artist Riste Laasberg, which have been designed and woven mostly during the past 7-8 years. Landscape has been one source of inspiration for these tapestries – landscape as a memory, notion, dream or something one can imagine without actually seeing it.

Riste Laasberg graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts in 1998 (MA), she creates mostly tapestries, sometimes uses embroidery and several other textile techniques as well.
