7TH TALLINN APPLIED ART TRIENNIAL

Satellite programme

22.04-21.05

Flowing…

Ceramics exhibition

… observes changes in time caused by movements. Movements caused by organic as well as inorganic substances generate sounds and shapes. Dripping, emptying, filling up again – circulating – symbolizes the passing of time, small inconspicuous influences, which develop into big changes.

The processes are boosted to achieve artistic abstraction: artificially accelerated and visualized with light, sounds, rhythms and graphics drawn on different surfaces. The viewer can follow visualized time, which flows by at different speeds.

Participants Urmas Puhkan, Külli Kõiv, Aigi Orav, Kärt Seppel, Lauri Kilusk / Asuurkeraamika.
