Armour

Jewellery and blacksmithing exhibition

Armour is an exhibition of conceptual jewellery and blacksmithing that takes place in the round gallery of the cannon tower Kiek in de Kök. Modern interpretations of medieval armour are presented through body jewellery and objects specially created for this project. Artists are given the opportunity to contribute to the burning questions on everyone’s mind – can we achieve a sense of safety among individuals and in society? How to do that? Who or what do we really need protection from?

Participants: Kätrin Beljaev, Rita-Livia Erikson, Nils Hint, Pilleriin Jürisoo, Annika Kedelauk, Mart Kekišev, Kairin Koovit, Keiu Koppel, Katrin Kosenkranius, Katarina Kotselainen, Triin Kukk, Siim Kuusemäe, Kadi Kübarsepp, Andreas Lichfeld, Helen-Kristi Loo, Marita Lumi, Liina Lõõbas, Urmas Lüüs, Anneli Oppar, Rauno Paju, Ettel Poobus, Darja Popolitova, Anna-Maria Saar, Merilin Tõnisoja, Paul Villemi.
