Love Jönsson (Sweden)

Love Jönsson, born in 1975, is a critic and curator specialising in applied arts. After finishing a five-year period as a visiting lecturer at the School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg, he was recently appointed curator at the Röhsska Museum for Fashion, Design and Decorative Arts in Gothenburg. He has curated and co-curated exhibitions of contemporary applied arts in Scandinavia and abroad and contributed to some fifty exhibition catalogues and anthologies. He has published articles and reviews in periodicals such as Crafts Magazine, American Ceramics, Ceramic Review and the Journal of Modern Craft. Love Jönsson is a founding member of the network Think Tank: a European Initiative for the Applied Arts and is the chair of Paletten, Sweden’s longest-running art periodical.
